the US left will twist themselves into supporting russia, a country opposed to everything they stand for because it is aesthetically anti US but not canada, a country much closer to their stated values

It is telling that they clutch pearls at the idea that the Canadians will shoot them in the face but were content to stan basically anyone opposed to the US, however nasty. The Canadians are actually near and can follow through on the threat. Politics was never meant to be real!
