Should it not be a criminal offence for a politician to do anything based on provable lies? It should be a felony to knowingly lie or use lies once the person is proven to be aware.

So sometime in the last 25 years, schools started doing shooter drills. So now you have a class of 20-30 terrified kids.
Especially in elementary schools, they had scared kids who couldn't go to the bathrooms and at 6-10 years old, they couldn't hold it. That led to a number of teachers getting buckets with cat litter for terrified kids in lockdown.
And that's when the cat stories started.

They got them because when there was a shooting drill, or another Uvalde, they went into lockdown. That means 20-30 kids, terrified, and the bathroom is on the other side of that locked door.
We are LITERALLY scaring the piss out of these kids, so some teachers got buckets.
Texans really screwed up. Only $6,000 per student provided for public education but $11,000. per student for private school. Almost twice as much.
We need to repeal private school funding asap and give teachers a raise and increase public school funding.
