Maybe it's just the monsterfucker in me preferring the pointy ears, face mask, and cubed fingers. It's so far detached from human traits, unlike the Octolings pointy fingers and rounded ears. ...and don't even get me started on people who give them human fingers and toes.

I feel like I'm the only one specifically into the inkfish's lack of nails, and cubed fingers/toes on the inklings in particular. It looks as tasty to me as a block of Tofu. I'm not a feet guy, but I can totally get behind it if they don't look like *human* toes. Human toes on inkfish is a turn off.
