i'm English, and also pronounce "fear" as two syllables - so many words i have to google to check, it depends so much on accent! words like fear are great for #7syllablesentence tho - you can use them as either 1 OR 2 syllables, depending on what works - some days American, some days English. 😉
I have found my accent can be a problem when writing poetry. I've been told my scansion is not correct when I know it is - it's these words that can be pronounced either as one or two syllables that cause the problems!
i do find myself double checking, as if i say the words more slowly, i realise that i pronounce them with more syllables than i notice if i scan them quickly - in the context of this, i use it to my advantage, especially knowing most are from the US. i love all the different accents in the UK.
I don't understand what you're trying to explain, so a video would help me so very much. Yes, a video of you pronouncing fee-ah in your best Welsh accent, while working on a fee-ah of being on videos. And you could be talking on the phone in the video. This will be so great. You'll go viral.
