I think the gameplay is one of the BEST we had in monster hunter. I didn't try a lot of weapons (charge blade and bow here) but they feel interesting, dynamic and fresh, certainly have their own special feeling, as they always do with each new game.

The monsters are pretty cool, and even if it feels faster than World to take them down, I don't think the monsters are weaker? But we do have a lot more that we can do against them, and it shows. I had a LOT of fun hunting that water binch, the mechanics were great and

Complaint is that the game is kinda confusing on WHEN you're done with a story section, because I'd be fine to go help a friend after a hunt but then the game is like "you have to talk to Alma for the next hunt, you can't leave". And also, finishing a story quest and INSTANTLY bringing me back to
Okay, so, as expected, I played a bunch yesterday again. I THINK I'm getting used to the game's pacing, like, I now know when the game allows me to do my stuff and when I'm locked by story quests, and so far it's been way better. It's also true I have not played a lot of online again
