Complaint is that the game is kinda confusing on WHEN you're done with a story section, because I'd be fine to go help a friend after a hunt but then the game is like "you have to talk to Alma for the next hunt, you can't leave". And also, finishing a story quest and INSTANTLY bringing me back to - ThreadSky

Okay, so, as expected, I played a bunch yesterday again. I THINK I'm getting used to the game's pacing, like, I now know when the game allows me to do my stuff and when I'm locked by story quests, and so far it's been way better. It's also true I have not played a lot of online again

But there's a complaint that remains. Since they leaned so heavily into the story this time, they did the same thing they did on World and even worsened it: the "no friends joining the quest until you watch the cutscene" problem remains, and it's most likely worse because there's a lot of

forced exploration where your character moves automatically and you're given indications to press this or that button to watch certain stuff. What they could have done, imo, is allow friends to join these parts and watch cutscenes together, but it's a shame they ended up repeating it

Asides from that, I'm enjoying the game a LOT. I'm very happy they kept some surprises hidden from the trailers, both for some returning monsters and also some new ones
