I've had a Garmin Instinct Solar for a few years now, 4 week battery life is a game changer. Only bummer its recently started with an issue where it shuts down randomly and needs the charging cable to restart. Seen a few folks on their forums with this issue but no solution.

I don't use the GPS much as I've other devices for that. I find the HRM and body battery are used frequently. It's interesting seeing the physiological stats corresponding to how i feel (unwell, tired etc)

I’ve used an Apple Watch and Garmin Forerunner recently and the Garmin blows the AW out of the water for the purposes of running. I still like the laptop unlock and authentication stuff with the Apple Watch though.
