The Bulwark, The New Abnormal, Pod Save America (and Pod Save the World), Strict Scrutiny, The Enemies List, No Lie, The Damage Report, and just for something light - StarTalk (physics not politics).
@yourewrongabout.bsky.social ...Beautiful and humorous commentary through the lens of the human condition. And how TF are we all remembering the same events totally different?? When the events are filmed???

Made me think of this post that I saw awhile ago. Not that it’s a podcast or documentary but took a break from the news and just finished the James Patterson - Alex Cross series on Amazon.
Lebatard Show, A Touch More, The Right Time With Bomani Jones, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me. (My podcasts choices are like my music tastes- all over the place. 😂)
Strict Scrutiny covers the Supreme Court news. It comes once a week, Monday.
Pod Save America talks politics and has a good interview each episode. They usually air 3 times a week.
“The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart”
“What Now? with Trevor Noah”
“Amicus”
“The Intelligence from The Economist”
“Post Reports” (the actual journalists are still doing their jobs even if Bezos is a POS)
“#SistersInLaw”
“Pod Save America”
“Matters of Opinion”
“Assembly Required with Stacy Abrams”
My comfort show (yes, I know how this sounds) Last Podcast on the Left.
I’ve done the entire catalog of nearly 600 episodes more times than I can count. Marcus & Henry’s voices are just comforting after all these years and I am still finding new dumb jokes to cackle at.
Conflicted: A History Podcast is fabulous. I’m learning things about our world that I hadn’t learned in school.
Really, it’s been a shitstorm everywhere at least once. We can get through a loser like trump.
Pivot (news and economy), Noble Blood (history! Royalty!), My Favorite Murder (comedy and true crime), and Apologies Accepted (comedy and the human condition).
Not related to mainstream media capitulating, but American History Tellers is a great podcast. I listen to it with my 4th grader on the way to school and he looks forward to it. Can’t beat family friendly, engaging history lessons.
I listen to a podcast called: Murders in Small Towns, true stories and it’s great because they narrators have a bit of humor but never about the victims.

It's a podcast about engineering disasters (allegedly). With slides!

Opening Arguments is great for the legal nerds, as is Legal AF.
If Books Could Kill Podcast ( @ifbookspod.bsky.social )
& Noble Blood Podcast.
They all seem to be gaslighting and offering nothing more.
We need to start building a resistance groups and getting things organized, and no one seems to be on the page of reality
has an _incredible_ podcast called #LadyKillers, though this season is about #LadySwindlers. Its incredible.
I love those guys. They work hard. Are honest purveyors of fact based information. And they are funny. Smart funny.
