I just want to bring this up! Many of the protestors everywhere in the US are boomers. Stop demeaning and destroying them bc this is clear: Boomers worked hard 5days/week, paid taxes+SS, did their best to keep their families housed, fed and schooled, were drafted, were ingenious, voted, protested.
And it won't make it on the news.. the fact that nobody is even talking about the whitewashing of the military and the mainstream media in The Purge of colored broadcasters from one of their own Networks is deafening
I spent about 20 years coaching a week-long chamber music program there at W&L University. One time I was there, a bunch of confederate sympathizers protested in a park near the University, with their battle flags flying. They were upset about the removal of those flags from Robt. E Lee’s grave.
