Other than being behind a paywall, this just seems like an attempt at justification for property owner greed. Owning your own home should not be a pipe dream. Housing is a human fucking right. In 2025 we should not be arguing if a basic necessity is a right or not.

It’s not a matter of whether you should buy or rent, it’s a question of can you afford either? My mortgage is half what a home this size would cost someone to lease per month?
