This photo also demonstrates why I don't look at images much on my phone. I prefer my laptop or desktop computer to see those. This needs to be viewed LARGE!

For my own images here and on Threads I make them quite large with a little compression. I don't see much difference between the same images on both.

Honestly, I believe it was the years in a darkroom printing that helped me with bnw. I was a better printer back then than I was a photographer. Still have my negatives and slides..fun to reflect.

Yes I used to teach photography and it was all film back then. Lost all my negs and slides when I moved to France.

My goodness, that is an incredible compliment, straight to my heart. I began in film, so when digital arrived, I strived to duplicate HIE film. Isn’t completely there, but close. Thank you so very much!
