As a morning person, it should be illegal how they force these decidedly non morning people out of bed way before they are ready and capable and force them to spend the first 2 hours of their day painfully shuffling forward like Frankenstein's monster learning to walk

Two hours; two cups of coffee, please
This was the same place that made me go to spin class for team building. It was … not great.
Thank you.
Lately, I wake up on the weekend and after doing morning meds and what not, promptly go find yard work to do for about an hour, at least. Safer to get "why didn't you wake me" than to try to coax the wife out of bed before she is ready.
my natural sleep cycle is literally nocturnal. i should be allowed to work at night and sleep during the day. i promise i would be more productive and hate people a lot less.
i am *optimized* for night. good night vision, good high and low freq hearing, fully awake 10p-6a. just let me sleep!
ugh.
How is that even safe?
“No. Not a….thing. It’s just a…..thingy.” 😬
However, I happen to work in one of the few industries that actually is 90% NY centered, and although west coasters are USED to taking meetings at their 6am, I'd rather have them be alert when we chat. Brain fog is bad business.
/i'm on the night side of this equation tho
As someone who usually has to wake up at 6am to be at work by 8:30, and has a brain that doesn't start to function correctly until around 10am. those first four hours are torturous.
I should try to give the night owls in my life a break.
Or, when I’m Wilde-ly grumpy: Only the dull are brilliant at breakfast.
if we have to meet, it should be during the middle hours ;)
I get more done in the morning while the rest of world sleeps. Less distractions and interruptions. More coffee for us morning peeps, too!
As a morning person, anything after 2:30 is dicey for concentration.
I am the night person where my husband is the morning person. Parenting is teamwork!
im still awake before 10 almost every day, but if my body could decide i would never wake up before 10
also i earned those emoji's next to my nick on here and my phone is on silent in the morning for that reason
But she forgot the 2 hour time difference, so it was 6 am my time.
And now she's gone.
