Chuck Schumer selling us all out will be the last straw for a lot of people. And they need to be organized into organizations and into a project that will outlive the Democratic Party.

I get the frustration, but a bunch of morons and a reality TV show host took over a 150 year old party and then, the country. I think we can handle that

The party has functionally existed since the founding and has literally existed since 1828. Pretty sure reports of its demise are greatly exaggerated.

The political careers of some members of the party though, maybe not so exaggerated.

Multiple U.S. political parties have ceased to exist in the past: the Federalist Part, the Whig Party, etc. Who is to say that it won't happen again?

The tea party completely rewrote the DNA of the Republican Party and brought all of their absolutely worst, farthest right impulses to the top. But the Democrats can’t do that because they’re too mad at Chuck Schumer to become far left socialists.
