Politicians should be addressing the funding cuts to farmers. USAID previously purchased a significant amount of crops from U.S. farmers, providing crucial support to the agricultural sector. With these cuts, what happens to those farmers now? In 2020 alone, USAID purchased $2.1 billion in crops.
