America needed a way, at the federal level, for voters to recall politicians (ESPECIALLY Senators since they have six year terms) long ago. Relying on a government to "check and balance" itself is clearly not a viable strategy, and has only resulted in the parties getting harder to distinguish.

We've got people like Schumer, who have been in the Senate for long enough that they rely primarily on literal imaginary families to guess what their voters want instead of listening to the actual voters, and people like Fetterman who get elected and promptly start acting like the "opposition"

because they know they've got, at minimum, six years to loot the government and get sweet deals for their own interests before they even have to pretend to care about the voters. It's absolute insanity that we allow this.
