Pretty good article, but I notice it never describes the 'throttling' as censorship. I guess the MSM still reserves that term solely for far right-wingers being held accountable for terms-of-service violations.
Removing links had a negative impact, definitely. Some journalists managed the toxicity better than others, largely depending on their content. But the "hot take" crowd (users and journalists alike) seemed to thrive in that environment.
