I'm hoping we'll get a PS3/3DS/Wii U situation where they change their minds after launch and reduce the prices of everything to get back in our good graces

But it's Nintendo after the success of the Switch so I kinda doubt it

Eh, both the PS3, 3DS and WII U wild pricing came after their previous console sold a zillion units and they all learned their lesson sooner or later so, who knows.
