We have used Whitlock-Vibert boxes and biodegradable eco-egg boxes for eyed eggs for restocking extirpated salmon and trout in Swedish rivers. Never tried boxes with fry though.

I think the Atlantic Salmon Federation used to do stream side incubation to supplement some New Brunswick streams.
