I work with a client who runs everything through Notion.

Seems flexible and the UI is nice.

I agree that it’s great, but imo it was even better ~5 years ago. It’s gotten bloated and harder to use somehow

I see that, but I think I use enough of the new stuff that it's net better. Definitely more bloated, but also more useful imo.

Agree - always little annoyances but never found a better alternative, especially for database-driven project management or internal team docs.

My main complaint (to take this negative 🤣) is I can never keep track of comments in Notion. For whatever reason, the “inbox” isn’t useable like it is in other tools.

Agreed. I just have it set to always email me and I ignore the in-app notifications.

I'm not sure they're worse than other apps, I think the conversations are just much longer and richer than what I see in, say, Dropbox or Figma
