Getting to Forest Hills from other outer boroughs is a crapshoot. A Lyft or Uber is not a bad idea, depending on the time of day. An area 6 miles away in Brooklyn can take an hour by subway. The E, M, F, and R trains stop at Forest Hills. 2/7

*The venue has an agreement with the HOA that shows end at 10pm. It's a hard curfew. FHS is 15 minutes from Penn Station via the LIRR. If you stay in midtown Manhattan, that's probably the simplest way to get there. The venue is a 6 minute walk from the train station. 3/7
I think it's a tough ticket now but will loosen up as it gets closer. It's not literally too small for Phish (it seats 14k) but it's designed so that almost every seat is a good seat. It feels small. A windy night will affect the sound high up since it's an outdoor venue. 4/7
Driving is not the best idea. It is possible, but not easy to find street parking. If you park in the surrounding area near the stadium, it is possible and likely that your car will get booted. You will need to call local security to take the boot off for a fee of $180. 5/7
There are also lots of paid garages on Austin St. and nearby Queens Blvd. Austin St. is the local main drag where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. No worries about things to do or places to go if you get to the neighborhood early. 6/7
The food and concessions in the venue are quite good. Most of the food options are stands from local eateries. I recommend a sandwich from Stacked. They also sell Diet Rite, which is incredible. HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL THERE! /thread
