Their staffers take notes of the calls for and against so at least you'll go on record and perhaps they will get enough calls to make them pause. Re-election is a powerful motivator!

Appreciate the optimism, but we had probably the best chance we're gonna get with lucas kunce and he lost by 14pts. Only one competitive house race. R governor by 20pts. Supermajority for 2 decades while the state fails. Most of my friends, clients, acquaintances are well educated folks, but...

I'm in the same position as you are living here in Missouri. I'll just que up my most demanding tone when I call both offices and get ahold of Rob or Emily, or Michael or Madison, and ask them to "relay my message" to the Senators. Then I'll just go fix a drink, or two.
