I once raised a Yellow Naped Amazon from a pin-feathered baby. I got up at 3 am every night feed him with warm monkey chow slurry. In return he bit me, and only me, until I gave him away a few years later. BASTARD!
Aww they baby! I honestly didn't know this cockatoo species existed until now which is surprising because reading into it it doesn't seem like they're particular obscure. Perhaps they don't come up a lot over here in Canada because people don't keep these ones as pets? Idk
Gang-gangs are listed as vulnerable and can only be found in a relatively narrow range. I'd be surprised if there were any individuals living in captivity outside of Australia, not including zoos.
