We did a demographic study of Arlington as part of a project 2 yrs ago. More than 40% of people who live in Arlington WFH, one of the highest percentages in the nation. This recent piece from the STL Fed has some interesting observations on why WFH people move.

Ah gotcha, yeah it’s not the promised land but honestly, you absolutely could do way worse than Arlington, Va. for this stuff. Like it’s definitely better than Tysons, if nothing else, though all 3 seem pretty sterile (I can only vouch personally for that assessment with the two Virginia ones)
