Good question! Making sure older horses have the retirement they deserve is a real issue! Once they are done with their riding career or other uses, often they are no longer wanted.

Delightful! What kind of horse is he? I had a Standardbred who was a failed police horse, lol. Apparently, he didn't like standing patiently in a stopped trailer. He had a big nose... I borrowed his bridle once for a Belgian!
