Absolutely! You're spoiled for choice now, but I'd always recommend a late-ish model Nissan Leaf in terms of bang for buck. From there, you've got the MG4 or BYD Dolphin, or Peugeot or the new Nissan Ariya or, well, just about anything now!

This is my wish list. Good space for camping gear, ski gear etc. Able to travel long distances from North to south Island etc. Comfortable haha Safe - should be fine. Value for money. Don't need flash but really want the other things. Thoughts? Would it be the same? Thank you Gavin!

Still loads of options! The easy suggestion would be a Tesla Model 3 or Y, but after Elon's gesture I can understand people wanting something different, in which case a BYD Seal is worth a look (so freaking comfy!) or an Ioniq 5. I see HEAPS of Kia EV6s on the open road. Great cruisers.
