yeah, he yelled at saria for crying when her favorite toy got broken in the rhine lab manhua. and the mumu side is just a headcanon of mine, but extrapolated from a scene in dorothy's vision where muelsyse remembers her mother teaching her that tears were powerful

cute kids but wistful even then. honestly muelsyse has lived several hundreds of saria's lifetimes already when they first met, but loneliness is so universal that it drew them towards each other. a saria more in-tune with her feelings and mumu knowing there's someone who would come back to her ;_;

Yeah, there’s a headcanon I had for rivers that was similar to that. In terms of real life experiences however, depending on the person, those years can seem to melt away when you’ve been alone all along.
