Do employers purposely make it so that we're so overworked, exhausted, and stressed out that even when we finally have a moment of free time, it's difficult to spend it preparing job applications? My body is screaming at me to sleep, but I have to write half a dozen cover letters...

They also want you as emotionally burnt out as possible by the application process that you don't want to go through All Of That /again/ to get another offer, so that you'll accept less pay/benefits than you're really worth.
Suddenly I had more work than normal and I was too exhausted to even do a take home test to start an interview process.
Dunno if it was coincidence, but I'm always exhausted lately.
