It isn't so silent at around -15. I hear cracking & popping (mostly my joints) & crunching of snow; the sound of creaking wires and contracting ice.
But the photo is beautifully peaceful 🥰
I understand. It has a lot to do with what we get acclimatized to.. and dressing appropriately for the weather.
It's easy to be outside at 10°F / -12°C and be too hot because we chose the wrong coat. 😏
