Setting my domain as my handle is such a good idea, but the instructions include things like “find DNS settings” and, sir, I’m not sure why the internet doesn’t just fall out of the cable in the wall. You are expecting too much of me.

OK. One time offer: If you want help, DM me. NOTE: I am offering my time for free, as gesture of goodwill. I've been an IT professional for over a decade.
Fixing people's DNS settings used to be my actual job, and even I was like... can we not?
Though I vaguely recall that verification used to require adding a code snippet to your site, which is even less user-friendly, and not an option for a lot of folks (like me). So slight improvement, I guess?
I stumbled on this video that might be useful to you/others. I don't own a domain so fuck if i know for sure. Originally shared by @halsparks.com and I'd trust him with my... er my mother in laws life.
I found someone's iPhone and tried to follow online instructions on how to return it to its owner, but since I'm an Android user none of the directions made sense to me. Fortunately a friend of the owner called him and got me, so he'll pick it up this week.
Okay, locked this one because it’s traveled a bit and folks I don’t know are giving advice and I don’t want them wasting their time on something I’m not going to do.
