Have you listened to any psychedelic cumbia/chicha music from Peru? It's been my pet obsession for a while now, my goal is to completely fill a cube with music from Peru, and I'm pretty damn close to reaching it.
This is a great compilation to start with. You should be able to find it on Bandcamp, or even YouTube. Widely available on vinyl atm as well. If you like it let me know and we can expand the conversation. :-)
