to have an easier time blending gradients together, you can use the layer blending modes like overlay and screen on white gradients (the highlights) to make the glass glossyness and diffusion more lifelike

you're also not restricted in how lightrays interact with the glass. you can make unique refractions by using circular white gradients overlayed on top of the vector art, cut out all of the shapes that are sticking out with a vector merge tool, and then using blending modes like overlay to finish it

One thing you could do would be to darken the darker colors just a bit to get more contrast and make the highlights pop more!
