Thank you so much for this. Our emotions come from real life experiences by us and our families. We feel it viscerally not from just reading about it. And so we bond together in our desires to stamp out racism and antisemitism. That’s my take.

Yep and people need to do deep internal work to undo it. I have spent 5 years in psychotherapy for long standing ptsd from n abuse and much of what I read in these books by Black and Jewish ppl is paralleling my own life experiences 1/

Also the queer community. My grandfather always discussed Jewish allyship. His Jewish friends accompanied him to integrate a pool. Yet people try to erase this allyship by arguing that white leftists are the true allies, even when they throw away our rights to make a political statement.
