Very useful overview. I am a bit surprised that so many journals have an embargo of 12 or 24 months on posting the author-accepted version. (I have no information on other disciplines for comparison.) They may allow posting on a personal website, but who finds papers there?

This is especially nonsensical if the earlier draft has been posted and is still out there, unimproved
