The wetsuit is a nod to Elster's Replika appearance. And look, Ariane's in white too!
And any Falke fans- this is her one and only appearance (in the comic at least, I have ideas for this AU)...

I wrote this before Yuri Stern's reminder that LSTRs also Land-survey, hence the tech/engineer angle (and also those inspiring arts with motorbike-owning Elster).

Ariane has the same record player as in the game and Schubert plays at the Cycle 3000 celebration dance cutscene. Plus dancing! And a reference to Ariane's health, though far less serious than in the game.
