Recently there seems to have been an increase in the casual use of ablest insults, often to describe the actions of those who have failed to sufficiently think through the consequences of what they are doing. 1/2

Whilst I get the frustration, there are a lot of words in the English language that could be used that aren’t pejorative terms associated with those with a learning disability and could perform the same function. Not using them is a choice.
