As a result of me reading this conversation, the teen has just heard Walk on the Wild Side for the first time (they thought it was a "pretty chill song"). Which led to a conversation about the Velvet Underground.
And so am education begins! The Velvets are one of my all time favourite bands, alongside Blondie, T Rex and Buzzcocks. (I was born in 1976 believe it or not!)
