So if you want a post to go to BookSky, use 📚💙. If you want the post to go to the horror book feed, use 🩸📚. If you want one post to drop into both the BookSky and the horror book feeds, use 🩸📚💙.

BlueSky works by using feeds. There are algorithms but not in the same way. You chose the feeds you want & the feed shows at the top with the other feeds. Then the posts are chronological. If you like birds, you just pin/like one of the bird feeds & all the posts in that feed are about birds.

Each feed has a zip code so BlueSky knows where to put the post. If you just flood the post with hashtags, they may or may not direct a post to a feed, depending on if that hashtag is a zip code. So the Romancelandia feed uses its name with a hashtag as the zip code. Horror books uses the 🩸📚 emojis.

The most important thing to do when you start using is to pick your feeds & learn the zip codes for those feeds if you want to post there. When you add feeds, you can toggle between them or stay on 1. Feeds are found under the 3 upper left lines. Scroll down to Discover Feeds. Use the + to add & 📌.
