I'll still plummet towards pits for a couple tries until I get full mastery, since I'll probably have played Warframe earlier in the day and you need to slide midair to properly control your momentum and speed up in that game.

In fact, Warframe is probably more complex, but less masterable...

from what ive played that seems to be a good description of warframe in general. there's a lot of stuff but not all of it has a ton of depth

Yeah, Warframe is very limited in all its stuff, but there is a lot more to learn than it seems at first. I'm faster than 99% of the Warframe community, because I realized the true potential of its movement mechanics that the average player does not.

That said, Ultrakill is a lot deeper...

So does optimal Warframe gameplay at high levels, but Warframe has a lot of MMO mechanics, so you are technically not required to play that way and can simply cheese in a corner instead. Ultrakill is designed to be played at that extreme chaotic pace and pushes it a lot farther.
