I know the CBC has a target from many in Canada. And CBC top execs taking bonuses in previous years is foul IMO.
No minds ever get changed on social media but I come from a land where cable news has become so corrosive for Americans. So I hope enough Canadians value this.

Been watching the CBC for a couple of hours now as they report live on Chrystia Freeland resigning. The coverage is informative, thoughtful and most importantly: It educates those watching.
Just light years more valuable for viewers than U.S. cable news IMO. No focus on 'winning" the argument.

This is one of the many reasons a pure Capitalism economy never works and instead a country's economy needs to be based on many different economic theories where they make sense
