Haven't truly paid attention to wrestling in 25ish yrs but the McMahon doc and recent WCW doc got me thinking about it a lot more again. Heyman is fascinating, love his insight and his passion of film is great to listen to.

Great interview. Curious about the Emmy conversation. Do you think if they ran credits, i.e. Cody Runnels playing Cody Rhodes, this would add an element of acceptance vs kayfabe? I mean Bryan Cranston didn't go on media tours as "Walter White". Or if they listed more credits like writers, etc.

Great Q. I think -- just guesswork from me -- is that the Hollywood community looks down on wrestling as some sort of circus deal. I'm not credits would change that.

With apologies to every other guest you’ve had, Paul Heyman is THE most engaging listen ever. The interview could’ve gone for 3 hours and I would’ve been riveted. And I loved your opening question to him - hearing him have to search for the right words told me it was something new for him to ponder.
