As a Canadian will you buy nonUS made items when possible to make a statement with your wallet?

Canadian friend, I’m an immigrant USA citizen born and raised in México, and even I will not be buying orange juice from Florida, but I’ll continue to buy real maple syrup for sure and purchase my groceries at my local Mexican market.
