It's the enablers that you have to make them doubt the narc's quality. Not power . But the ability to be effective. This will eventually make the narcs go crazy and misstep. That is the most effective way to take them down for good . Take away their legitimacy to function.

You’re assuming a lot of it is attributable to substance abuse. My point is this behavior exists even without substances. And the adrenaline, dopamine, cortisol combo is easily sustainable when you’re threshold for stimulation increases
