I hope you're correct, but the whole landscape of this "new order" is starting to come into focus, and it looks a lot like it has been well planned (by someone not in North America) with appropriate puppets in place to implement it. Rule of law only applies if you believe there are rules.

Sam Harris suggests it's because Musk is an addict. He's addicted to both ketamine and social media and can't get out of his own ass. Like so many others, he lacks the introspection to identify his weakness. And unlike others, he's surrounded by sycophants who won't tell him.
