While complex writing can be nice, it’s tiresome and unnecessary. It’s better to just write in a way you feel most comfortable with. ||
Trust me, I've been struggling against that since Tumblr too. Back when you needed to study website design before you'd even get a chance to write, and all for a clique that already had their favs, often enough.
What matters is writing what you want to see. You'll get your audience/friends.
