The same thing happened to me with Project Diva Megamix!

Even when Im not a fan of the toon-shader, being able to play Diva for myself instead of watching youtube recordings was such a nice experience
I remember not being able to play because I didnt have a Playstation ;_;

Yeah I was surprised to see the drastic visual differences among all the different ports! In Hello, Worker I noticed that F 2nd doesn’t have the shadows that the later versions do. Gotta say I do prefer it over the way MVs look in Megamix 😭

My fav look will always be Arcade Future Tone, I think...
It has beautiful graphics and models, and has most of the songs! Rin also looks so cute ><
But I do admit F 2nd looks very pretty from an artistic viewpoint... The colors and lighting are on point, and the choreos are very interesting ^^

For example, Musunde Hiraite Rasetsu to Mukuro looks a lot better in F 2nd than it does in Arcade Future Tone, as they essentially re-created the whole illumination and parts of the MV, its so cool!

I love that MV it’s so cool! I like that there are so many different ways to enjoy the same game. I’m considering getting a Vita so I can also play the F series and X on the go…having too much fun over here 🫠

Diva is so much fun ;_;
I wish we could get another Diva game in the future... I know its probably not an option anymore since Project Sekai pretty much replaced it, but Im still hopeful
Diva had so many MVs, costumes and cool choreographies!
