The world features things like a rollercoaster you can ride on, a drag racing strip, several jumps and a lake with an island (initially inaccessible). There's also a petrol station, which you'll need to visit now and again so as to not run out of fuel. 2/3

The upgrades appear one by one in the world, so you'll need to find the first before the second becomes available et.c. This does make the whole thing a bit repetitive towards the end. But it's a neat game that provided an early taste of the open world genre. Nice music by Rob Hubbard, too. 3/3

There are now two clever “upgrades” of Action Biker. Jon Wells did Action Biker ‘99 which adds a proper dashboard at the base of the screen.

And there’s Action Biker Enhanced by Extend released this year - fixes bugs, adds new features and more:
