Very interesting. I'm recovered from active ME/CFS and long covid, but still have endothelial damage. Cardiologically, everything is fine. But a recent flu infection (caught because I had to take my mask off for cardiology tests!) showed my vascular system is still extremely fragile.

N=114k ‘Prevalence of CFS/ME was 1.2%.. CFS/ME was significantly associated with CVD (aOR 3.26, 95%CI 2.85, 3.72, p-value: <0.001) after adjusting for traditional CVD risk factors.’ ie BMI, hypertension etc.
