I've played League and other MOBAs as well as casual and competitive FPS. People are toxic in games.
I'd say League has that label because it's popular. Lots o' peeps, lots o' jerks.

I always use the examples of clowns. So many people say they're scared of them. But I have a theory. I have a feeling that 90% of the people who say this just say it because everyone else says it. They were just told they were something to be scared of, so they just go "yeah I guess they're scary".

League is like that. Does it have toxic people? Of course. But having played it for over 10 years now, it's not anymore toxic than any competitive game with a chat feature.

I've made more friends than enemies in league.

So maybe stop regurgitating tired opinions that aren't even yours.

On my end, I've played League before, but could never get into it. It just didn't grip me, honestly. But boy, have I HEARD of the toxic behaviors coming from some of the big League streamers; don't get me wrong, there ARE good ones. But even those who don't play it who behave like this are as bad.

I absofuckinglutely agree!! Now personally, I've had few occasions like what's described here, but the times where I did, OH. BOY. Fortnite being the biggest culprit; Seasons 3 to... what... 12ish? 13? I've had Hybrid for ages but boy, the incessant child screaming... my headaches were nightmares.
