I don’t seek out short form content but anytime I see a short/tiktok I appreciate baked in subtitles. Allows me to watch without sound or switching whatever audio I’m listening to.
LOVE THEM. I watch videos sound off, so if it doesn’t have subtitles, I’m not watching. And I’m not hearing impaired, so adding them is just good for accessibility.
I want them baked in everywhere as long as they're ACCURATE. So many people cuss in their content but censor the captions with something clever or"appropriate." Just add an * for the vowels if you're worried about it. I want to know what's actually being said.
I don't bother getting dressed anymore. I practice nudist shit in my house. It's fun. It feels free. I love my birthday suit. It gives me freedom that I need.
Yes. I have auditory processing issues and some shirts are not accessible to me without subtitles. User generated are better than the automated in terms of accuracy.
As someone who browses on mute most of the time: All subtitles are great 100% of the time as long as it's not a crappy font/size, or those ones where they only put like one or two words at a time...
As someone who can read faster than 5 words per second, I freaking hate them with a passion :$
I always like subtitles baked into short form video personally.
I think it usually let's the creator have more control to make sure the subtitles are accurate.

Basically as long as it isn’t slop (missed or incorrect words), ye, subtitles good.
One of my favorite channels is SimonFordman which has no talking and everything that needs to be mentioned is done in the CCs
