Stop saying teachers ‘aren’t in it for the money’. Damn right we’re in it for the money, we’ve got bills to pay! Saying we’re ‘only in it to see our students flourish and succeed’, without acknowledging we need to be resourced, & paid decently is the teaching version of ‘doing it for exposure’.
